授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content In this course students will explore role technology plays in our society and dig deeper into a sub-topic of their choosing. Using authentic material, they will attempt to synthesize information into a short academic write-up and also give an oral presentation. □Reading & Discussion ?read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities ?express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations ?write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (600-900 words + bibliography) ?make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	In this class we will… ?use Manaba (LMS) for presenting learning materials, collecting assignments, and giving feedback. ?periodically use Zoom or face-to-face formats to conduct real-time classes. ?provide opportunities of exchanging opinions among students by introducing group discussion ?aim at developing self-directed learning skills with an emphasis on research and organisation
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read textbook units or other assigned readings and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper throughout the term.
