授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	▼春学期同様、英語のアカデミック?ライティングの基礎であるパラグラフ?ライティングのルールと型を学び、論理的でまとまりのある文章を書く力を伸ばします。秋学期は、書き始める前の情報収集と整理、計画、効果的な論展開、引用の作法、アカデミックな表現についてさらに理解を深め、より短い時間で説得力のあるパラグラフを書くことを目指します。書く前の計画からアウトライン作成、文章作成、書き直し、校正までの「プロセス」を重視します。これまでに学んだ語彙や文法を基に、「和文英訳」で はないライティング力を身につけます。 ▼この授業で学ぶ内容は、日本語でのレポート/卒業論文作成や、卒業後の仕事や研究でのライティングにも役立ちます。
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	▼ ドイツ語学科、フランス語学科、経済学科、経営学科、法律学科の学生を対象とする選択科目です。原則として学期完結科目ですが、春?秋学期通年で履修することも可能です。 ▼授業活動例：モデルパラグラフの内容と構造の分析、個人ライティング、表現/文法練習 ▼My DOC上で、授業に関する連絡、宿題?課題提出、資料配布を行います。 ▼課題にはスケジュール通りに取り組み、エッセイを期日までに提出する必要があります。
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	▼毎週、教科書の練習問題やライティングなどの宿題があります（60-90分）。 ▼宿題や課題の情報は、毎回の授業でMyDOCに掲載されます。
