授業の目的?内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content In this course, students will examine several sociological issues (e.g., marriage, education). □Reading & Discussion ?read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities ?express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations ?write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (600-900 words + bibliography) ?make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式?方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	オンライン授業の形式： 基本的にType 1 の形式です(Porta IIを利用して指示を出すので、それに従って課題に取り組み、Porta IIを使って提出して下さい。提出されたものを教員がチェックして点数などの結果をお伝えします）。 学期末に予定されているプレゼンは、皆さんの機器、ネット環境、オンライン会議システム利用への意欲などが揃えば、リアルタイムで（Zoom利用の可能性高い）発表、質疑応答の時間を持ちたいと願っています。つまり、基本的に Type １ですが、最後のプレゼンの時はType 3も導入するかもしれません。（カメラ、マイク内臓のPCやタブレットがあると良いです。スマホでも大丈夫です。あとは、WiFi環境があるのが理想です。）
事前?事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read textbook units or other assigned readings and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper throughout the term.
